Re: NEXTEL and their chicken-**** billing system
I would suggest that you take your last few bills including the final
bill showing you owe $0.03 to a Nextel owned store and ask to sit down
with someone who can help you figure out what is going on. The folks
who answer the phones often don't know enough about complex systems to
help when things go wrong.
That way you can get things worked out quickly and not have to call
back, etc, etc. and Nextel can call off the collection agency so your
credit does not get messed up.
FWIW, Nextel does bill 1 month basic service (the fixed $ part of your
bill) in advance. If your account was CNCL 3 days prior to the close
of your billing cycle then it is possible that you could owe some
small amount of money as the forward paid credit would be very little
at that point; 3 days before your bill is cut. Add in any extras like
SMS charges, taxes, and the like and you can quickly eat up that three
day credit.

Yep, you're one of the people we talk about who shouldn't be allowed
a cell phone or Internet access. AKA "a waste of air". If you let
them get away with that crap it's YOUR fault and I had to fix your
STUPID top posting, but typical of being on the low end of the food
chain you blame it on other people and think you'll make me feel so
sad by insinuating I'm a child. LOL!

Ya think???? I am glad you wasted your time writing all that, now
others will understand why I said it was his own fault if they got
away with that crap. I had a similar problem with Cingular and walked
into a store and they fixed it immediately. Sometimes looking one in
the eye is the way to fix things.
