Can anyone tell me about nextel service in ocala Fla and surrounding
areas?

its great in Gainesville (North of Ocala), better than in Orlando IMHO. ive
only experienced signal issues twice in about a month.

I am in Ocala, got a boss that uses Nextel. He says the coverage is superb
in and around Ocala. A little spotty just north of Dunnellon, and
absolutely no service north of SR40/US41. But he says everything is fine in
Gainesville, Ocala, Belleview, Lady Lake, Orlando, etc. I've been thinking
about getting Nextel myself (that free incoming minutes thing sounds like a
sweet deal to me), so I'd also like to hear more reviews from folks in the
area. Thanks.

I am in Ocala, got a boss that uses Nextel. He says the coverage is superb
in and around Ocala. A little spotty just north of Dunnellon, and
absolutely no service north of SR40/US41. But he says everything is fine in
Gainesville, Ocala, Belleview, Lady Lake, Orlando, etc. I've been thinking
about getting Nextel myself (that free incoming minutes thing sounds like a
sweet deal to me), so I'd also like to hear more reviews from folks in the

Seems to work pretty well in Gainesville and I've used it down to Tampa with
no problems.

also great up 441 to Gainesville. Just wanted to post that. Thanks.
