OK, I really like this old phone as I don't have to open it to see the
screen, but I want something smaller without making the screen smaller, and
I want to pay less than $200. Crazy, am I?

Re: Ned upgrade from i1000 plus
Rumor has it. Bring ur i1000 into any local nextel store. They'll
upgrade u to a i60 for $65 bucks (included accsories). Try it out....

I doubt it. A $99 phone? Don't think so.
Plus:
> OK, I really like this old phone as I don't have to open it to see the screen,
Which makes the i60 useless for him

I don`t think there is a perfect solution here. If Nextel and Motorola
are the players, you will have to concider some of the non-flip phones
for price and size conciderations.
I did, I have a i35s, I`m Ok with it since it`s rugged.
Hey, is this old man the CART fan? Usenet is a small world.

Yep, that's me!
I guess I'll have to visit a Nextel store and look and what I like and
don't. The i60 screen looks smaller than a i1000 plus but I guess I will not
know until I see and hold one. I can't find any real specs with that info.
