Wow, guess those "silly" guys at Reuters don't have the "nose for news" you
have. Funny, hasn't been posted in the group before either. And the suit was
only filed on Tuesday. What constitutes news worthy enough on here for you?
Hour or two old? Maybe the newsgroup should hire a "Man on the scene" so we
can get it on here fresh enough to suit your tatses? I know, we could get
guys with Wireless Palms and station them at every major news clearing house
so we can get it "Hot off the presses" for you!!. LOL

Nextel Sued in California Over Billing

Nextel Communications this week was sued by a consumer rights group in Los
Angeles over the carrier's billing practices. The suit was filed on Tuesday
in Los Angeles Superior Court by the Foundation for Taxpayer and Consumer
Rights. The suit claims that Nextel hides usage details in its billing
statements and that detailed billing information that had previously been
available on printed bills is now available only online on obscure parts of
Nextel's website. The suit seeks an injunction against Nextel's new billing
practices and restitution for subscribers. Nextel has yet to formally
comment on the suit. California has not been kind to the wireless industry
in recent months. California state regulators last month fined Cingular
Wireless $12.1 million for failing to give subscribers in that state a trial
period for new calling plans and for offering poor quality of service.
