    FYI

Not sure if everyone knows this but you can use your old 250 name SIM
card in an i730 phone. You will only have 250 slots buy if you want to
switch back and forth from and i95/i88/i90/i85 etc and a i730 you don't
have to call Nextel to do the swap. Don't mention this to the customer
care reps as they lectured me not to do this bla bla bla.

    Good luck,

    Timmy

In other words, I think the i730 uses a new SIM Technology that makes
other SIM Cards incompatible with it....

    Re: i730 sim compatability

My SIM card from my old i95 is working fine in the new i730. Only 250
names though. At least I am able to use both phones without calling Nextel.

The 32K cards work fine in the i730 (Anyone that wants to phone me, I
can prove it), but you're stuck with less phonebook entries, and some
    other limits apparently.

The 64K cards work fine in the i90c and i55sr, but not my i85s (might be
older CP), but the phonebook *does not work* -- The only option in the
phonebook is "*611" and if you try to make any changes (add/edit/delete)
you get an "Invalid SIM" -- But if you ignore the phonebook, it works
    fine there too.

    Re: i730 sim compatability

you are incorrect. they are compatible, but you are confined to the
phonebook limits of the old sim card.
