    Here's an idea, when you port your number from wireline to wireless they
    should have you check a box in the paperwork saying you want the number
    added to the national Do Not Call List. Or just register all your numbers
    (wireless and wireline).

    That should solve the problems.

    Come on - like the telemarketers follow the rules anyway?

    Screw 'em. Anything that makes it more difficult for them is a good thing.
    Let them do the work of figuring out whether the numbers are wireless or not -
    all I think our side is obligated to do is to put pressure on the wireless
    industry to put together some kind of database of current wireless numbers.
    Let the dorkwad TMs bear the expense of looking up phone numbers.
