Why are Nextel phones so big?

Because they're built tuff, perhaps?
Allot of Nextel phones adhere to military standards since they're mainly =
aimed at the business sector.

Mainly a Circutry Schematic thing--Because Nextel uses iDEN and iDEN
uses different algorithms and schematics, the circutry must allow the
phone carry all in one, thus the phone might be bigger.
