be wary of that donation, all that has to happen is Motorola makes a change
to the firmware on the phone and suddenly WebJAL does not work. Now, you
might say that you won't update your firmware and you are around the
problem. What if that firmware update is suddenly required to access the
network and Motorola actually sent it to each phone via the network ? Then
you would have a WebJAL that no longer works.
Don't get me wrong, I don't think WebJAL should have any restrictions but
you need to remember, it was written by Motorola, they get to say who uses
it. Motorola makes you get permission from your carrier to upload apps to
your phone. I guess for security reasons, not really sure.
