I am trying to get a audio wave file as a ring tone on my 7250i. I am having
problems converting it to midi. I have downloaded lots of wave to midi
converters but they don't seem to work. Any ideas would be helpful

Yup that's right WAV/MP3 to MIDI usually don't work, can be very hit a miss.

Stick with MIDIs as your ringtone sources.

Re: Help Wave to Midi
The best Wav 2 MIDI program out there is Human Ear v1.0.
Trying to convert a Wave file to a MIDI is like creating a photographic
picture on an old typewriter, it cant be done "easily". If its a piece of
music try and find the MIDI file of it.

Re: Help Wave to Midi
If memory serves me correctly, that wav file needs to be an
uncompressed one to convert to a midi. Have spent a bunch of
sleeptime trying to get that done too.

I got a midi converted out of wave. the drum didnt turn out well. the drum is like piano. all midi events are jumbled together. the waves file has about 4 instruments. how to seperate the wav into 4 instruments midi?
I dun mind doing 4 times and combine the final result into 1 midi. it's just cannot be done "easily"......
