I am figuring this is a no brainer question `cause if I upload a midi to my
Sony Ericsson I'm sure the same midi would play just as well on a Nokia, but
I'm asking here because there is no cellular.sony ericsson ringtones
    newsgroup.

I also want to know if the same data charges apply when I download via data
cable from my pc to my Cingular cell phone? Again this seems like common
sense too -- if I own the phone, the data cable, the software, and the pc
there shouldn't be any charges but I figured I'd ask because I want to know
for sure before I start creating a different ringtone for every person I
    know.

Unrelated: My default ringtone is "Who Are You?" by The Who which is also
one of the CSI theme songs (not sure if the CSI version is done by The Who
or not, but the Who's version is close enough for me even if the network
uses cheaper talent. Cool Edit is great for whittling an mp3 down to size.

    Thanks!

Re: Will a Nokia ringtone work on a Sony Ericsson phone?

    First answer:
Whether it'll work depends on the phone and what file size n' midi type it
accepts, the only way to know for sure is trial and error.

Second: No you won't be charged for using your data cable.

Third...no idea what your trying to say.
