samsung D830 folders

How do I select a MP3 as alarmsound or sms-sound on the samsung d830?
Can only select from the folder favorites en downloaded and not from the
music folder. Also can't copy the mp3 files into the favorites.
I send Samsung a mail, but they don't answer my mail.
Can someone help me?
