creating poly ringtones

anyone have any info or websites about creating poly ringtones from midis??
or any info about the types of midis that are supported by different phones?
i have a 7250i and it seems it can only handle 4 track midis?
i have found a bunc of rintones that are more that 4 channels, and so if you
go to upload to the phone it sounds like crap....using nokia pc suite you
can edit the polyphony values for each channel, i dont really understand all
this, but i want to know if theres a way to make the multi channel midis
sound ok on my phone

Nokia Sound Converter is probably the easiest tool for the job. You
can either read the help file which does a pretty good job of
explaining the process, or just play with it until the output sounds
acceptable to you.
