i got a 7250 about 6 months ago - its a great phone but i'm sick of £70+
bills every month cos i can't help downloading games and sending pictures of
me being sick in interesting places to people.
i've got an 8310 pay-as-go on orange but i'd like to use my o2 sim from the
7250
i don't see why i should pay extra when i've paid for the handset anyway.
does anyone know a restriction code please?

If you look a little further down the group to 'restriction code 7210'
someone has already asked this type of question and received a very detailed
answer, have a look at that and it should answer your questions.

I'm not sure if it's me misreading you're message, however I think you're
missing the point here about what unlocking your 8310 will do for you! Yes
you've got a new handset from Orange which is pay-as-you-go, so when ever
your Orange SIM card is in your phone, you'll be paying-as-you-go via
Orange!
However as soon as you put your O2 SIM card into your new phone (when it
unlocked) you'll still get charged for making calls/download games/sending
messages by O2
Hope this makes sense!
