Nokia 3300 Headphone adaptor

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone knows of an adaptor for the 3300 which allows a
normal 3.5mm steroe jack to be plugged in rather than a the standard
supplied headphones.

Kind Regards,

Ian

They definitely exist - I saw one in a shop this afternoon. Only about £4,
too. Can't find any online links right now, but they must be there.

Where abouts was this?
The only ones i've seen are the 2.5mm ones for hands free kits.
I've searched everywhere i can think of.

Cheers
Ian

Sorry, Ian, I've probably been an idiot here. I presumed what I saw was
standard headphone size but it must have been 2.5mm. What's a millimetre
matter anyway?! LOL

I'm actually looking for the exact same thing as you, so my disappointment
is just the same as yours. Sorry for raising your hopes.

Maybe the search should be for headphones with a 2.5mm connector. Would that
work? Do they exist?

And are there any stereo hands-free kits which would serve the same purpose?
Do *they* exist?

These little blocks on convenience of use (also the blocking of using your
own graphics for wallpaper) really spoil what could be a great phone.

Apologies for the confusion I caused. Any answers to my own queries, anyone?
R

I think the only way to get a converter's to make you're own, open up on of
the 2.5mm converter blocks and put a 3.5mm socket in the 2.5mm ones place,
i'm not sure i can be bothered yet.
I really want to use my exsisting headphones as they weren't cheap

I don't know about steroe handsfree kits other than the one supplied with
the phone.

Are you sure you can't use your own graphics? i can use the one's i've
downloaded.

All in all it's a great phone, i just wanted to use my own headphones,

Thanks anyway

Ian

That was my point, that you HAVE to download them. They deliberately blocked
accesing graphics on the memory card, which would have been a much, much
easier and flexible solution for the user, like being able to use your own
headphones instead of having to buy Nokia's own. </Cynicism>

Anyway, back on the point.....

Some of the items on this page sounds intersting, though the key links won't
load for me...
http://www.eteleplan.com/p34-15040-c...ands-free.html

And there's this thread which discusses the issue..

Please post if you find a solution!
