I have a Nokia 3330 that appears to be locking up.
When I turn the phone on the screen pixilates and then just sits with the
lights on.
When the phone is off and the battery charger is connected the charging
indicator works ok, but, it charged and does not stop.
I have tried a different battery and this has had no effect. My battery
worked in the other phone too.
I have not used my datacable on the phone for over a year so there is
nothing I have done with the cable to have caused this.
Brilliant for a torch but I would prefer it as it should be, a phone.
If anyone has any ideas as to how I can restore this to its original working
state or If you know what's the problem then I would appreciate the help.
TIA
Goldie

Professional repair would probably cost more than the phone is worth.
As you've probably got nothing to lose, perhaps you could try freezing it
for a while in the freezer. Has been known to work with 'locked-out' coded
car-stereos.

Re: Nokia 3330 lockup
Thanks for that but with my freezer being full of hi-fi and TV gear I am
gonna pass on that idea.
Cant wait to watch TV and hear music again after the big thaw !
