Well good news. I got it working. Eventually.

I take it you have PC Suite.

When you get it all "set up" I opened the connection manager
(Nokia's) and it has 3 buttons.

Serial cable, IRDA and bluetooth. (Left to right)

Oh, don't forget to turn on the bluetooth on the phone. Menu 11.

There is a file with Nokia suite called "trouble shooting" (from
    memory).

This tells you some stuff on what to do.

Now, what I remember happened, if I look at the serial ports on the
machine, Serial port 4 is mapped to bluetooth.

When it connected, it used Serial port 3.

So I suggest you select the bluetooth drvice, and properties (or
something) (maybe advanced) and try that.

I didn't do that directly. Somehow the software just suddenly
decided to work, but that is an observation to what the end was......

    Good luck.

    Did you google this group?

This has been explained several times.
Make sure Bluetooth drivers are up to date!
Pair the phone (PC Suite connection) using 'My Bluetooth Places'
    Then try connection manager
Post details of which Operating system and what error messages you get
if you don't find the answers by googling.
