I have one of the great Nokia 6600 phone and have only just now tried to
send my first MMS message only to have the sending fail. I have checked
about the wed and also with Vodafone who sent me new MMS settings ( which
were the same as the ones already in my phone ) yet still I am unable to
    send an MMS message.

Does anyone else have the same problem ? Or better yet has anyone fixed that
    problem ?

    Thanks.

    Re: Vodafone MMS

Having has a few conversations with Vodafone tonight it seems that the MMS
side of Vodafone is very broken at the moment so it is not a problem with
the phone but with Vodafone servers / network.

    Darn.

    Re: Vodafone MMS

I was goimg to buy the 6600 on Vodafone, but I read that there was certain
functions like MMS, WAP & GPRS that they didn`t support, so I waited for
Orange to release it before I got it.

    Re: Vodafone MMS

The phone works fine for WAP and GPRS as I use to to access work and home
emails constantly and am in the middle of building a SyncML server at work
so that others can so the same without POP3 access setup on the work email
systems. It is just the MMS side which seems to be broken just now on
Vodafone and I WILL be calling them tomorrow to get the story.

So much for their 12p per MMS offer till the end of April as no-one can use
    the darn service.

Did they tell u how to reset your gprs settings on your sim.
this is the email i had from vodafone yesterday....

your GPRS connection hasn't been updated for around 10 days.
To get this up to date please do the following:

With the handset switched on take the battery and sim from the back of
    the
    handset.

Put the battery alone back and switch the handset on

When you see ' enter sim ' take battery out again and replace sim and
    battery

    Switch handset on

This will update your GPRS connection and should sort out the problem
    for
    you.

after doing this i have succesfully sent and received mms messages
    between voda, o2 and orange

if you want any more info like settings etc let me know.

maybe i just been lucky in picking times when the network is working

    Re: Vodafone MMS

Are you sure your Voda account has been activated for MMS?
