I'm using AT&T's wireless service. I'm looking for a cellphone that I can
sync my contacts to my phone with a USB cable. Also, syncing ringtones and
images might be cool too. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Many of the Nokias will fill the bill (only 6360 on TDMA side).

(Not sure about ring tones & images)

I just talked to a guy at the local AT&T store and one on the phone w/ AT&T
wireless. They said most Nokia phones have it, but you have to purchase the
USB cable which is about $40. Has anyone done this?

If you're going to have to buy a USB cable, why not get a phone that has
Bluetooth and then buy a USB Bluetooth dongle for your home PC? It won't
cost any more than $40 USD and may even cost a little bit less. Plus you get
the advantage of using a BT headset with the phone or connecting the phone
to a BT PDA. Best of all no cables to deal with.

NOKIA 6200. Best phone I have ever owned. Locks on to a signal and
won't let go!!!!! After all, that's what a phone is really for,
    right?????

I looked into the bluetooth options. There was a very limited supply and
they were very expensive. Most were for the GSM network and most had many
other features i would never use like digital still/video cameras. I just
want a phone! hehe. Thanks for the information, however.

Yeahhh... but what if it was caused by a slow signal refresh rate? =)

Why limit youself to a phone with a USB synching ability? the 3650
sync's wonderfully to Outlook and it uses Bluetooth. A good BT adapter
can be had for like $20. With a BT adapter you can transfer images,
ringtones and so on between the phone and pc, not to mention load tons
of cool apps that do everything under the sun.

like i said in a previous post, the BT phones are limited in selection, they
are expensive and they are usually on the GSM network.
