Nokia 6100 and BL-5C Batteries

Can a BL-5C battery be used with a Nokia 6100?

I went to purchase a replacement battery for my Nokia 6100 today, and
the salesperson gave me a BL-5C battery instead of the BL-4C. Can I use
the BL-5C without any problems? The Nokia site seem to indicate that
the only battery which should be used with a Nokia 6100 is the BL-4C
battery.

Should I return the BL-5C battery and get a BL-4C battery instead?

Yes, you should. BL-5C is thicker as BL-4C. I don't think that the
battery cover still fits, does it?

I haven't opened it yet - in case I had to return it and the shop won't
accept the battery if it has been opened. I better return it then and
exchange for the proper BL-4C battery.
