6600 question: how to install SD card

Hello,

I'm probably missing something...trying with 3 different SD cards...none
works...the "card application" sais: No card inserted...Any advise?

I know nothing about this phone apart from my son has one.

Is the card formated? is it formatted with the right FAT?

6600 does not support SD cards only MMC cards

SD and MMC cards LOOK the same, but they are quite different, and the 6600
(and the 3650) do NOT run with an SD card. they need an MMC card.

6600 is mmc only. sd is thicker. Unless you force or bodge it in, it wont
fit.
