How is it possible to connect the PC suite with the Nokia 6600 by Bluetooth.
Have dongle from sitecom connected to serial port link but some how it
doesn't work. The mRouter always gives an error by connection and the
    PC-suite doesn't see any phone??

Can anyone explain in simple englishe how to make contact?

    Thanks..

The procedure is basically the following:

    1) Check that your Bluetooth adapter hardware is functional. Most drivers
install an application where you can verify this.
    2) Check (Windows Control Panel -> Device Manager) that your BT adapter has
installed virtual COM port drivers for itself.
    3) Check which COM port is assigned for "Bluetooth Serial Port" settings.
Usually this is your BT adapter's services settings.
    4) If your BT adapter has for example COM4 assigned for the Bluetooth Serial
Port, activate this port in the mRouter application.
    5) Now have your Nokia 6600 and PC make atrusted pair ("Search for Bluetooth
devices in range....") and set passwords to both of them.
    6) When you have a Bluetooth Serial Port link activated, mRouter will show
"Connected" status next to the according port and its icon will turn green
    and blue.
    7) Now you can start the Nokia PC Suite and it should ask you to set a name
    for your mobile device.

    Thanks Tero,

But I did pair the laptop with the 6600 with passwords on both of them and
did set the serial port active (com7)
but as soon I start the mRouter it will get a conflict with it and BT brakes
    down.
It will not see the 6600 on the suite and after one try the BT isn't able to
    acces anymore.
I use a 6600 with a laptop centrino with wifi and a sitecom BT.
the 6600 does even show the (O) sign that it has connection. As soon PC
    suite starts it doesn't show
other the error message from windows that mRouter is get a conflict and if I
would like to send the report.
I get little lost here with my options what to do

    Any idea's?
(other then throw it out of the window...)

Your link certainly helped me. I'd given up getting mRouter to see my COM
ports but by following the advice on the Symbian forum I finally succeeded.
    Specifically:

    (1) Disable any internal modem.

    (2) When reinstalling dongle s/w, make sure device remains disconnected
until after reinstallation is complete and you have rebooted.

    Re: PC suite with Bluetoth??

    I have a similar problem with a 3310i & PC Suite 4.88 using a TDK Bluetooth
adaptor. I can pair the phone with the PC but when I try to use PCSuite I
get a message "Bluetooth API caused an error".
    Any ideas?

    Re: PC suite with Bluetoth??

I have had similar problems which were caused by Mcafee antivirus and
    firewall software,
when I disable them works a treat.
Just make sure you disconnect from the internet before disableing them
