Whatever it is, any protection is easily bypassed. Better yet: Ditch it in
favor of Netfront. Opera has still has some bad memory problems. Any site
that's bigger than the most basic thing may get you into memory problems!

Use a file manager tool like SeleQ and go on the phone to the folder
C:\system\data. You will find a file called ousr600.dat there. Remove it. Now
create a FOLDER with the same name, so "ousr600.dat"

i can not see the file u mention (ousr600.dat) will try to get the seleq
filemanager

same "turnaround procedure" with netfront?? deleting and making again a
file??

the file was not on my phone, but anyway i treid then to make the folder, as

Is the Opera-version, supplied on the MMC-card with your 6600, a FULL or a
TRIAL-version? I think it's a FULL-version ...

it is a full verion i think, but after the phone was repaired (totally
resetting everything) the opera went to a trial version!!

i only had the phone for a week before, and since i sync with outlook - i
saw no point!!

The message still comes up, but it now says something like 97 days, and it
does NOT count down anymore! So you can use it forever, after clicking
trhough the initial screen that now forever says '97 days'.....
