    Hey,
    A friend of mine wants to swap phones. He likes the 8310 but
    since they stop making them he cant get one and wants mine. Anyone
    think this is a fair swap?

    Depends if you really use the radio or not.
    At first glance the only thing the 6100 has over the 8310 is a colour
    screen and java apps.

    Definitely, 8310 is an old model and 6100 is better than it in many ways.

    I'd say so, yes. The 6100 is a much newer handset and worth considerably
    more on the second-hand market.

    Hazs your friend tried Ebay , there's usually loads listed and if he's quick
    he can get one reasonably cheaply , that's where i got mine

    Has your friend tried Ebay , there's usually loads listed and if he's quick
    he can get one reasonably cheaply , that's where I got mine

    his work gives him the phones, so thats why he doesnt care about
    swapping etc.
