Please help! I've just bought a new BT-HS01 Bluetooth headset and I am
having problems trying to use it with my Nokia 6600.
When I try to pair the headset and phone, it works ok. But then when I
try to activate the bluetooth connection I get the following error
message: "Bluetooth handsfree profile not supported by EPoX-HS01".
The Epox support section indicates that the phone & bluetooth device
are compatible
(http://www.epox.nl/english/support/wireless/faq/q3.htm).
But I don't know why its not working. I've emailed Epox and they said
i should change my 6600's profile to 'headset profile', but i can't
find this anywhere on the phone. They keep referring me to my 6600's
manual and i can't find it on there. Please can someone kindly help me
sort this problem?!
Thanks in advance.

Re: 6600 and bluetooth handsfree problem
Somewhere in personalizing profiles you should have the option "accesories"
where you choose headset and then "automatic switch" to the profile when you
connenct the headset.

Also be aware that Nokia have a problem with the Bluetooth compatibility
(they will not admit it but I have a pdf from Jabra that confirms this), on
some headsets. The Jabra headsets and Nokia will not work well. The
connection is held open.
The only head set I have managed to get to work well is the Nokia and the
Plantronics ones.
