Name not showing when SMS Recieved

Everytime I get a txt message on my 6600 it just shows the number above the
message even though the person is in my Phonebook, it doesn't do this with
MMS, very annoying

i've read that it's due to have multiple name entry with the same number ...
maybe u can go thru your contacts' list to see if you've entered that
person's name twice?? that's only one of the reason. the other(s) being the
way the numbered is entered ...

Yeah, I've since found that it only recognises the name if the number is put
in the phonebook with the country code i.e +44 instead of the 0
