Nokia 7600 PC Software

Can anyone help?

I just got a new Nokia 7600 and I am having severe difficulty setting up my
software connection to my phone.

I have installed the drivers and software as required, but the Nokia
Connection Manager isn't detecting my phone via the USB cable.

Any suggestions?

Hi,

If I were you I would uninstall everything then reboot my machine. Make sure when you reinstall the software the cable is NOT plugged into your computer. Install the DKU-2 driver first and then the software. You should be prompted to restart your computer. If not, do that. As it reboots plug in the cable with your phone attached at the other end. When Windows kicks in you will start to see a bunch of pop up ballons from the task bar telling you that Windows has found new hardware. There are about 6-12 of these... let them do their thing. You will know when everything has been downloaded and installed properly when it suddenly goes all quiet. See how that works for you and I will look at for a reply to help you further if you need it.
