7250i Serial Data Cable - Software

Hi,

I've just brought a serial data cable for my 7250i, and was wondering if
anyone can recommend somewhere i can download some applications to connect
to my phone via the cable so i can upload photos to my pc from my phone??

Well you can use Nokia PC suite which is free (www.nokia.com), or you can use MobiMB (www.logomanager.co.uk) or you can try Oxygen Phone Manager (www.oxygensoftware.com). The last 2 are not free. Personally I use and like MobiMB because of its simplicity and user friendlyness.

Not with a serial cable you can't. The supported cable for the 7250i is the
DKU-5 USB cable, a serial one won't work at all with PC Suite, and cloned
DKU-5's can be very awkward to get working.

Best bet is to send it back and get an IR dongle for flexibility.

Yup, I think both support the serial cable, but I'd still favour an IR
connection.

Couldn't agree more. Mike Bradley's software is usually amongst the best
when it comes to ease of use and doing what it's supposed to do.
