Nokia 7210 File transfers

I got an 7210 Mobile recently .

I have already managed to tranfer pictures and midis
from my PC to my Nokia7210 using an USB-IR Dongle and nokia pc suite

Is there linux software available to transfer this under linux ?

IS it possible to transfer

*A midi, jpeg or java from one 7210 to another 7210 using IR
*A midi, jpeg or java to abck to the computer using IR ?


Is it possible to write own java apps and use it on the 7210. Is
there a development tutorial somewhere ?

You can easilly devellop in Java (J2ME/MIDP), you'll require sun's Wireless
Toolkit and maybe Nokia developper suite (both free) see http://www.sun.com
and http://forum.nokia.com ,you'll find tools and tutorials.

Do I need anything else ?

you'll also need a JDK (maybe you already have one) and a text or Java
editor (don't know which one is good on linux as I work under Windows)
