Thank you for your request!
There are two ways, how to set up DKU-5 cables:
1) Just select 'DKU-5' option in 'Tools' -> 'Options' -> 'Connection and
common' -> 'Connection' section. Please, deselect all other connection
options (including COM port's number). You should select only DKU-5 option
in this case.
2) You can also specify virtual COM port's number directly. In this case,
you should uncheck 'DKU-5' option, select virtual COM port's number ('Add
port' button). Then left-click once on DAU-9p/F-Bus sign and select
DLR-3/DLR-3p option from pop-up menu.
Also, please, make sure, that you have installed correct drivers for your
cable. If you are using genuine Nokia cable, you should install drivers from
official Nokia site:
http://www.nokia.com/nokia/0,5184,5447,00.html
If you are using third-party cable, it could be assembled on ProLific
chipset. Prolific cables aren't compatible with DKU-5 standard and you
should download specific drivers from official ProLific site:
http://tech.prolific.com.tw/visitor/v_fileBrw.asp - go to Smart I/O IC ->
USB 1.1 -> PL-2303 USB to serial bridge driver. Official Nokia DKU-5 drivers
aren't compatible with this cable.
Does this function? Can you establish connection now?
Feel free to contact our technical support service directly, if you will
encounter any problems concerning program's functionality and/or
registration process!
