Can any one let me know how/what game format the games are for the emame app
on the nokia 6600, Does it take the same roms as the computer? do they have
to be unzipped (so i send a batch of files) or does the phone unzip a zip
file containing all the parts to the game?
any help appreciated

G'day there Til,
Your phone supports series 60 games - (and it doesn't unzip them for you) if
you have downloaded the file from the net and you decompress them on you pc,
the size shown will be the size used if you copy them on your phone - you
would have to grab a interface program plus cable/infrared you can use
"mobimb" to store them on your phone http://www.logomanager.co.uk
Cheers,
David

An Emame is made for the series 60 phones. The mame roms are the
original game roms made for that operating system. The emame program
unzips them to run, you don't need to.

Re: Emame
no stick the zipped mame roms in the emame rom folder on your mmc card
or phone memory if ur stupid (ull get out of memory errors with too many
mame roms) or a cheapskate....mmc cards r friggin cheap...
emame has an internal zip program that unzips em as you run them...
cheers
and most games are slooooowwwwwwwwwwww.....
novel thought though....never thought a 12bit processor can emulate an 8bit
fast enough to be viable....
shouldve made the 6600s 16bit....ah well lets wait a year ....it'll come...
