6100 and VOICE/WAV Ringtone

Hi my loudspeaker feature on the nokia 6100 is clearly audible and I think
if the speaker is capable of reproducing voice at such volume a .WAV
ringtone should not be out of the question.

Is there an application available for this phone to allow it to play .WAV or
other sound files as a ringtone ?

Nope, that's one of the "irritating" things to consider about a 6100. The
6600 is better if you want a loud ringtone though ;-)

It's amazing the volume that comes out of that little thing!
You can't help but imagine the battery draiiiiiining as it speaks to you.

One v disappointing feature of the 6100 is the few midi voices it has. I have a
pile of .midi files that I have tried to use as ringtones, but they need so much
messing about manually changing the parameters in PC Suite that I've given up on
them. I really wanted The Big Match too.....

I very much doubt it. I can see where you're going though. You want your phone
to shout at you from your pocket "Oi you there you got a call". Possibilities
are endless.

the way java is implemented into series 40 phones prevents this.
