Nokia 7250 restriction code???

Good morning.
I' hope you will help me to resolve the following problem occurre to my
Nokia 7250.
I sent it to a repairer (the main switch was broken). When iI tried to
switch on, instead of the request of the PIN code, a message on the display
asked for a "restriction code" !!! ???
I called immediately the repairer to ask what to do and if he changed
something inside the 7250. He heplied "I only repaired the switch".
Would you be so kind to let me know what it could happen and wher I can get
that "restiction code"?

not 100% sure but it sounds like the repairer tried to get past your pin
number , if you enter it in wrong too many times it locks the phone ,
you have to phone your customer service and ask for your PUK code ...
would this be the same in Italy as UK im not sure.... then again it
might be somethng else ...

A restriction code means your phone is locked to a specific network,
and your trying to put a SIM card in that's not the same as the
network that the phone is locked to. Maybe your repairer has given
you the wrong handset.
