I heard that Nokia were working on making the screen bigger as it is rather
small compared to other smartphones (without making the phone bigger). If
it isn't any bigger then I shall not upgrade from my 6600 to it. I think
the screen is one of the most important parts of a phone to get right. If
it isn't right people won't buy it. At its current spec I think its too
small. We'll have to wait and see.

thanks, I'm on the waiting list at expansys but they don't say when they'll
be releasing it...could try this one too

yep, the 6230 has got the same size screen as 3100, 6610, 7250i etc..
65k in 128*128pixels will be crap!

Well the spec has been fixed for quite some time, so I doubt they are
"working on making the screen bigger".

I'm not entirely sure what a "smartphone" is, but I don;t think the 6230 was
ever supposed to be one.

The screen is should be excellent, albeit not as big as some.

Local retailers are estimating that the 6230 would be hitting stores next
week or the week after that here in Finland. I assume that means it's
available at the same time in many other countries too.

Expansys web site is quoting stock expected in 3 days

I have ordered one of these but am having doubts as of the small
screen.

I need a phone which is triband and bluetooth compatible and can play
mp3.. can anyone recommend a phone with a larger screen than 6230 with
these features?

Does anyone know when the first 1 megapixel camera phone will be
available in uk?
