New 3200 stops when it tries to connect

Hi,

The subject says most of it:
I bought a 3200 today, i started loading the battery, and after 3 hours, it
was fully loaded. (seemed very (maybe too) fast to me... is it??)

so i turned it on, and it said the code was ok, then it shows the two hands
for 0.5 seconds, beeps, and turns back off. just like it would do with an
empty battery

so is plugged it back in, and it started loading again.
15 min later, it said it was full again. i unplugged then plugged again, it
still said it was full. but still the same result, turning off when trying
to connect

anyone?

i brought it back to the store, and i'm waiting for a new one.

I have a 3200 also and I was told by the salesman to run it dead first then
charge it for 16hr. min. Use it until battery is dead again and repeat for 3
times.

I have had the same instructions for my other Nokia's and I never had a problem
with battery life. Of course there is the possibility that you received a bad
battery. Good Luck to you.
