These are quite different phones and it depends on your mobile service
provider which features you can take advantage of:
Nokia 6600
+ a larger screen (physical size)
+ higher screen resolution (176 x 208 vs. 128 x 128 pixels)
+ a better calendar, email client and wap/web browser
+ more and more advanced applications and games available (Symbian vs. Java
only)
+ MMC memory card slot
+ standard number keypad
- only mono audio output
- only GPRS connections, no EDGE or WCDMA network support
Nokia 7600
+ a little bit better camera than in the 6600 (though both are VGA cameras,
640 x 480 pixels)
+ WCDMA (3G) network support. Great for laptop and PDA use, if your operator
supports this.
+/ - different looking, plastic stylish?
+-/ 32 MB of internal memory, but no memory card support
- weird keypad that should be more responsive´
- apart from the Realplayer stream support, no applications to really take
advantage of 3G networks
Overall, I'd go for the 6600 if you want a tool for an advanced user, and
for the 7600 if you want a different-looking toy for personal use.
