6610 power up problem

Hi all,

Have got a 6610 that will not start.

Press the button and it lights for nearly a second then goes off again.

Is it a simple silly problem ?

or is it a bin job?

It could probably be lots of things. If it has never been wet or
anything like that, try a new battery before you get desperate.

I had the exact same problem a couple of weeks ago, took it to a local nokia
service point centre who said the phone software had become corrupted and
required a re-flash. If you're phone is under warranty they will flash it
for free - mine was done in under an hour! If not in warranty expect to pay
£10-£15.

Check out the support section of nokia uk's website to search for a local
service point centre.

Tried the battery in another phone and tried a battery in this phone.

still the same.

so can I can get a tad more desperate?
