I installed the new version, but it crashed as soon as the opening
screen appeared. I went back to version 2.2 (Build 2.0) and it works
fine again. I think there's some problem with the new release. I'm
using Windows XP.

Hello, Chris.
Our apologies for that.
Please try to delete your old opm.key file before starting of
version 2.3. The new version requires updated registration key that
you can request at the registered customers area. Although we tested
version 2.3 under all supported Windows versions and assured it runs
with the old opm.key fine, we received some reports like yours. Most
of them from Windows XP customers.
Now we're investigating the problem.
By the way, do you have any antivirus or memory monitor software
installed on your PC?
If you will have any further questions, please do not hesitate to
contact us.
Best regards, Oleg Fyodorov.

Hello Oleg.
I tried your suggestion of removing the opm.key file and
re-installing, but the problem remained.
I then completely uninstalled version 2.2, rebooted the machine,
installed version 2.3, rebooted again, and still it crashes
immediately after displaying the splash screen.
I am using McAfee VirusScan and Zone Alarm firewall but disabled both
of those while running OPM. I don't have any memory management/monitor
software.
Do you have any other suggestions?

I am having the exact same problem under Windows 2000. I have
uninstalled (including removing registry settings) and re-installed.
The error appears to be when OPM tries to connect to the phone as
after a clean re-installation the software launches fine until I
select the connection type, then it crashes. I have emailed OPM
support separately and will post here if I receive a fix from there.

Unfortunately, there is no screenshot that I can give you because the
program crashes immediately after the splash screen has displayed. It
disappears completely after that, with only my XP desktop showing.
Also, no opm2errors.log is created.
By the way, while trying to download a previous version from your web
site I noticed that version 2.2.2 is not available there. 2.2.1 is
there, but I get a "The page cannot be displayed" error when I hit the
button for 2.2.2. Maybe you could check on that also please.

Anyway, Chris, could you please contact me by e-mail with your

course if you have nothing against it) to resolve this problem.

Re: Oxygen Phone Manager II v2.3 is released
Hello,
Im having the same problem also.
I downloaded OPM 2.3 and everytime OMP tried to connect to my 7210 via DKU
it crashed... OPM just shows the splash screen then flashes up on screen
then closes. If the phone is not connected, nothing happens
Im using XP-Pro.
I removed 2.3 and went back to the old one (deleted everything etc) and it
still does it. Windows gave me a crash log, which is at the bottom of this
post.
I really would like to get this working! As I use OPM alot!
I use Norton Antivirus 2003 btw.

Thank you for your reply!
Can you establish connection if you will turn off DKU-5 option
completely and specify virtual COM port's number directly in 'Tools'
-> 'Options' -> 'Connection and common' -> 'Connection' -> 'Add port'
? You can view proper virtual COM port's number in 'My computer' ->
'Control panel' -> 'Switch to classic view' (if not switched) ->
'System' -> 'Hardware' -> 'Device manager' -> 'Ports COM & LPT'
Please, set this port in 'Tools' -> 'Options' -> 'Connection and
common' -> 'Connection' -> 'Add port' in our program. Then left-click
once on DAU-9p/F-Bus sign and select DLR-3/DLR-3p option from the
popup menu. Does this help?
Can you establish connection properly if you will connect this cable
after running the program?

No I get the error if I connect via DKU5, DAU9 or DLR3

I can only get the cable to work if it is plugged in when the machine
is re-booted
