I see that the author of Oxygen software regularly posts to this ng and
seems most helpful in answering questions and supporting their software.

I have however emailed them on two occasions now to register the software
    but received no reply.

    Is this normal?

Judging from their helpful attitude in this ng I guess not.

Any ideas of how to get a response or do I just download a cracked version?
    ;^)

    Regards,

You can't say I haven't tried to register your software...did you receive my
    original email?

Ironic then that in alt.cellular.nokia I fight your corner and sing your
praises for supporting your software - see attached ;^)

    Hi there,

I am a registered user of both LogoManager & Mobius/PX and have downloaded
    OPM v2.2.2 to try.

It looks like a great programme but when I went to purchase a registered
version I was refused because of my 'free' email address.

I have had this email address for over 7 years now and although I paid a
one-off fee of $50 originally for use of it Mail.com were taken over and I
now have to pay an annual fee to continue using it - so I resent the fact
that it is classed as a free email address...

In that time I have changed my ISP several times - the only constant is my
    permanent [email protected] address

Is there any way that I can register using my main & paid for email address
    please?

I am also intrigued by your 30% discount for registered users of Mike
Bradley's LogoManager - attached please find a copy of my registration
    confirmation message.

    Thanks & regards,

Re: OXYGEN Software - is ignorance bliss?

I made some email enquiries regarding their Christmas special and they never
replied to me either. So it is probably not unusual for them not to reply.

Anyway they lost a sale and if or when I am ready to use it I will consider
getting a cracked version as well, simply because they don't reply to
    enquiries.

    Hello.

We answer all messages we receive. If you don't think so, please
tell me at least one reason why we shouldn't care about our potential
    customer? I don't see any.
Unfortunately because of the lots of various e-mail viruses and spam
messages strayed e-mails become more and more usual thing. We also
confront with these difficulties every day. Therefore we have an
online support forum - http://www.oxygensoftware.com/forum that you

    Really??

You may have an online forum but why is it when in your own email in this ng
    20/4/04 advertising OPM v2.3 you give the following link;
    http://www.opm-2.com

When I follow that link and I read down to the part that interests me -
namely 30% discount for registered users of Mike Bradleys excellent
    LogoManagaer I get the following;

    " Register now!
All the registered customers of Logo Manager and MobiMB software may
contact us with the registration confirmation message to get 30% discount on
    Oxygen Phone Manager II.
Want to get OPM II for free? Write Oxygen Phone Manager II review,
publish it somewhere in Internet and send the URL to [email protected].
Authors of 10 best reviews will be awarded with free Family license of
    Oxygen Phone Manager II.

When I click on contact us I get the mailto:[email protected] with the
MobiMB already set in the subject line - custom made!

I would expect this to work...I used it twice...and then you flippantly tell
me that I should be using use your online support forum?

Why not publish the correct information the first time round Oleg?

I tried to register OPM at the same time I registered LogoManager 9/4/04 - I
have been using LogoManager for three weeks and here I am still floundering
and trying to buy OPM :-(

I wonder how many more potential customers you may have lost - there is one
    in this very thread.

Nothing personal Oleg - you do a great job and your product looks really
good - that is why I am trying to buy it - but it is frustrating for a
potential customer who follows the instructions and hears nothing.

No matter how high your profile in here it leads the prospective purchaser
    down a blind alley;

    1. If I get no response when trying to spend money what will it be like when
he has my money and I need support?
    2. I might as well download or generate a crack - at least I will have the
program and be able to use it.

IMHO option 1. is so far off the mark and unfair because you do a great job
in here and I have no reason to believe the same would apply to registered
    users on the support forum.

Option 2 - although I threaten to do so - is not an option with me. I always
    buy/register the programs I use - sometimes even those I don't...this goes
way back to my Amiga days and continues...hell I registered WinZip way back
in 1997-ish and registered WinRAR even though I despise .RAR archives,
rarely used it and don't use it at all now...

    Regards,
    -=pp=-

I did this, it took a few days to get a reply, but I did get a
    reply...

Anyway, it's much cheaper if you buy via eBay now...

    Hello.

    1. [email protected] is the correct e-mail. Hundreds of customers
contact us every day using this e-mail. And you may be sure we don't
ignore e-mails (except spam and viruses ;-)
    2. If we haven't answered your message it means we haven't received
it. I described several possible reasons in the previous message.
Unfortunately we (just like any company) can't guarantee that the all
messages sent to us will be delivered, because we don't control all
the intermediate mail servers. But we *can* guarantee that we receive
all messages sent using our support forum. Therefore I suggested this
    way for you.

Well it seems strange to me that I used the email link on your website for

I've tried several times to change the keycode for my phone. No response
from Oxygen. On the 1st of this month I decided to upgrade to the family
license. My card has been debited but no new keycode has been received.
Tried to contact Oxygen through their online support form but I can't - they
won't accept it because - my licence has expired! So, to summarise, I can't
contact them through their form about the lack of licence (which I've paid
for) being received, as my license has expired. Pretty shoddy service,
    Oxygen.

    Hello.

    1. We do not ignore e-mails. If you think we do, please tell me at
least one reason why we should not care about our customers? If we
haven't answered your message it means we haven't received it. In this
case please contact us using our online support forum -
    http://www.oxygensoftware.com/forum/.

    2. [email protected] is valid and working e-mail address. Many people
contact us via this e-mail every day. If you experience any
difficulties contacting us via this e-mail, please use our online
    support forum - http://www.oxygensoftware.com/forum/.

    3. May I advise you to contact your internet provider to check if
e-mail from your domain to ours delivers properly? It may be more
useful for both of us than discussing our "ignorance" here.

    4. Just a reflection: if we would like to ignore you, we wouldn't
answer to your posts here ;-)
