Another novice question:-
I have an aged Nokia 3210. Recently the display has started to play up even
with fully charged. Sometimes shows gobbledegook...other times heavy dark
banding. This is intermittent...mostly its ok.
Q. Any advice on why?...considering throwing it....could it be the battery
needs changing?...any other thoughts?
Thanks.

The LCD needs to be replaced, considering its age...hahaha... it also has
corner vignetting/blackening right?

My guess is that it would cost more than the phone is worth. I would get a
newer model phone like your earlier post suggested you might be considering.

It can be replaced quite cheaply. B&W screens cost almost 8 USD in
Malaysia..plus a little service charges shouldn't be much though (prices in
your place may vary)

Is it the actual screen that needs to be changed or is there a chip
somewhere that is replaced?
