It seems to have everything in a nice little package. Any reason why i =
    shouldn't?

Absolutely! As with most new Nokias the first 3 to 6 months (maybe
half the anticipated lifespan!) should be regarded as a public beta
    test of their lousy firmware.

Leave it till August at least.

There are certainly some minor bugs and some users have reported
problems with certain of the new type of large capacity SIM cards.

However, generally it's a great little phone and I don't regret
buying mine. The amount of problems is no greater than 'normal' for
such an advanced spec phone and considerably less than those of some
others. Will be happy when the niggles are ironed out though.

As fair as I know, the most current firmware version 3.15 most issues. It's
already available at least here in Finland.

Nokia gives official support for MMCs up to 128 MB, but many have reported
at least 256 MB cards working. My 128 MB MMC (Verbatime) has worked without
any problems. I use it for image and MP3 storage.

Well, from what I have tried out with my SIM collection on my 6230, 8k
(deactivated and operational), 16k (deactivated), 32k (operational) and 64k
(deactivated and operational) SIMs work well with the phone.. haven't tried
the fancy "SIM browser" 128K SIMs though.
