    Hi guys

I was wondering if anyone in cyber land can help me out

I quite like the look of the 6600 and have read some mixed reveiws on it and
am 50/50 on getting it or not.

At the moment I am using a Sharp GX10 wich I have to say is a nice phone for
what I want but I prefare nokias and am using a nokia 3310 when I dont want
to risk my Sharp and I use an old nokia in the car when the new law came
into efect and it only cost me a tenner :-) for the phone and the car kit

What I would like from the phone is a decent calander, email when going to
be away from the base to transfer important emails over to an account the
phone will use, an alarm, I use MMS a bit but not alot but prefare to have
    it than not.

I use to have a 6210 and like the way you can put mutiple no's and details
under one name I take it that the 6600 has this featureonly down side to
this is that my 3310 only uses sim memory so I end up with a couple of no's
duplicated but I can live with this.

overall what are peoples veiws of the phone I have had a look over the specs
and I sure this phone suits my needs plus I like the look of it and I want
bluetooth so fire away guys should I go for this one.

    All the best Paul

There is a known problem with the 6600 and Bluetooth, something about the
channel remaining open after a voice call which drains the battery on the
headset, I can't offer too much advice on this problem as I don't use a
    headset.

I find from experience that the battery life is very poor, I'm not getting
two full days from a fully charged battery at the moment, the phone is only
six weeks old and might not be fully conditioned yet so this might improve.

Overall I am very happy with my 6600 and wouldn't change it for anything out
at the moment. (waiting for the 6620)

    Hi Paul,
I was given a 6600 to test on Sunday, by yesterday (Tuesday) I couldnt wait
for my P800 to come out of the repairers.

The 6600 firstly wouldnt accept my old 5 volt simcards whereas the p800 no
    worries.

also the menus have to be shifted around a fair bit on the 6600 so that they
are in some sort of order

PHP ringtones are hit and miss , mp3's dont work either.

Two full days of what? I find that I charge it about once a week on normal
use. What "normal use" is will obviously vary from person to person. Toying
with the camera and anything else that forces the backlight on for extended
periods of time drains battery real fast though.

But, if used primarily as "just a phone" I'd say the battery life is pretty
    comparable to my old 7210.
