My first impressions of the 7610:
+ Fast menus, noticeably faster than 6600
+ Very bright display
+ Good WAP/XTHML browser, betten than in S60 models before
+ Also Opera browser on the RS-MMC card
+ Decent image quality with 1152 x 864 pixels - a few examples here:
http://lehto.net/7610/ (not to be cross-linked)
+ IMO: very stylish looking
+ a 64 MB memorycard comes with the package
+ You can take up to 10 minutes of video (max resolution 176 x 144) and edit
it with a few nice tools.
- only 8 MB memory for apps, images, messages etc.
- does not accept regular MMC card
- RS-MMC (reduzed size MMC) is under the battery
- number buttons are very close together are therefore you're likely to push
wrong buttons at first
- No EGPRS support, only regular GPRS
I'm not still sure whether I'll buy the 7610. I'm hoping that Nokia will
announce an EDGE enabled Series 60 model with a megapixel camera on 14 June
in Helsinki. If they don't, then maybe I'll have to get this one already.
Overall I'd say the 7610 is a very nicely featured phone with good style.

Re: 7610 ?
So would you get a 6230, 6600 or the 7610?
Thanks

7610 is definitely superior to the 6600 in almost all aspects:
+ faster software (menus, WAP/WWW browser)
+ a better camera
+ the latest Opera browser (7610: Opera 7, 6600: Opera 6)
+ brighter screen
But as I mentioned earlier:
- 6600 has a regular MMC slot, 7610 has an RS-MMC slot.
The 6230 is more difficult to compare, because it has faster menus than the
7610, faster data connections (EDGE, although very many operators don't yet
support this), FM radio, better sound quality and nice smaller size. The
6230 and 7610 represent quite different categories -- do you prefer small
size and weight or extra features? I currently have 6230 and I'm still
satisfied with it.

Same as 6600 - pretty good, but using the display much in a day it will dry
out fast.

I got about five hours talk time during normal office hours (quite a loaded
network) and starting from a fully loaded battery. This about the same
result I got with the 6600, and about twice better than I got for example
with Qtek 8080 (Smartphone 2003) or Nokia 3650 (also Series 60).
