I just bougth a 128mb MMC card that i put in my 6230, but, when i put some
mp3's and a .m3u playlist on that card, the playlist won't work.

Does anybody know how i can get the 6230's musicplayer to recognize my
mp3's, so that i don't have to manually start every next song once the last
    one has finished ? ?

I connect my 6230 to the Nokia PC Suite using bluetooth, but i use a USB
cardreader/writer to put the songs on the MMC card, since thats a lot
    faster.

Any thoughts/input are greatly apreciated !

    Please forgive my poor English.

    Sjoerd.

are you putting the mp3's into folders on the MMC?
if so the musicplayer won't see them.

are the mp3's bigger than 5MB?
if so i THINK the musicplayer won't see them, no one has said otherwise.

have your mp3's got ID3v2 tags?
if so the music player won't play them.

Also you been in 'music player', pressed 'options', selected 'track list',
then selected 'options' again, then clicked 'refresh all tracks'?

By the way your english is excellent, except 'recognize' is spelt
'recognise' unless you want to be a retarded yank?

    Re: 6230 mp3 playlist ? plz help !

    Thanks for your input Joe,

'cause it's a 128mb card and i got some videoclips etc. on there as well, i
put everything in separate folders. Some of the mp3's are bigger then 5 mb.

However, i found a way to make it work. It's not ideal, but hey, at least it
    works.

I found out that you pretty much HAVE to use the PC Suite's 'Audio Manager',
using this program, you can create a playlist (m3u) that Audio Manager
automaticly installs in the phone's music player folder when you upload
songs to the phone (MMC card). This is a folder hidden for the browser.
Apperantly Nokia doesn't it's custumors with delicate stuff like this.

Anyway, uploading the songs to the phone using bluetooth takes foreever, so
i tried something and that worked:

Take the list of files you want to upload. Copy them to a folder on the mmc
card using a USB cardreader. Now put the card back in the phone. Open 'Nokia
Audio Manager'. drag the exact same list of mp3's to the upper white square.
select them all. then press '' edit' , 'create playlist'. now select the
folder in the lower left corner where your files allready are in. Press
'upload to phone'. Audio Manager sees the files and asks 'replace files?'
select 'no'. repeat 'till all the files are through. Audio Manager now
installs the playlist in the hidden folder.

I know, it looks complicated, but it only takes half a minute.

Does anybody have a better way to do this ??

I'd love to hear so !
