I've been using PC suite to try and synchronise my address book with
Outlook.

After a year of trying to live with it, and seeing a new version
released which doesn't improve its capabilities, I think I need to
look for an alternative.

There are two (at least!) PC Suite "shortcomings" I'd like any new
software to deal with:

1) I'd like to be able to select which contacts in Outlook are to be
synchronised, not by putting them in a separate folder, but maybe by
using one of Outlook's existing capabilities (e.g. Using a specific
Category)

2) I find it useful to have contacts postal address on my phone, but
PC Suite doesnt seem to understand Outlook's use of address fields.
Worse, if you change the address on the phone, the next
Synchronisation can often delete the address from the Outlook contact
entry! I'd like some software that works properly for this.

I would specifically like recommendations from users. I'm sure I'll
get the usual adverts from software suppliers, but please, only if
your software really works in the Outlook synchronisation mechanism.
