Enabling WAP?

I got a 6230 and a mate tried sending me a pic from his phone but nothing
came through. Is this because you have to enable WAP?
If so how do you do it with this phone?
Cheers

No you don't need to enable WAP.

You can send a picture :
- using infrared
- using MMS

Using infrared in obvious, and for using MMS you need to configure it and
start this service for both phones from your own operator. In order to do
this, I think you can directly use nokia's site:
MMS Settings for your own phone (6230)...

http://www.nokia.com/nokia/0,1522,,0...rt/phones/6230

then click on Settings list at the bottom of the page, then "Get MMS
settings >> "

Tim, you need to be more insistent and sharp...
http://www.nokia-asia.com/nokia/0,,59306,00.html

I just followed the link of Tech Hub from Nokia Australia web page to find
it...

The first country listed in Get MMS setting is... guess what... And
operators there are Optus, Telstra and Vodaphone...
