Does anybody know of a program called Sweep? I've heard of it from a
friend, it's supposed to be used for transferring messages, graphics
and software to you computer, and I would like to find some place,
where I can buy this. Can anybody help me?

I know of a progarm called Swwep. It is a virus protection application
    from a company called Sophos.
Wrong answer I know - but try Oxygen, MobiMB or PC Suite if that is
what you want to do. I can transfer from 7250i to PC easily with PC
Suite which is free from the Nokia site. Make sure you get the right
version for your phone and operating system

Do you mean sweep or suite?

The Nokia software is called PC Suite and does what you want. It's a
free download from Nokia's web site.

Ah - if you are looking for PC Suite then make sure you have a
legitimate cable and not a clone. Woth paying the extra. I bought a
clone advertised as a Nokia product and am sending it back to get my
money back as my Nokia service shop won't help - and I don't blame
them. So when the system (PC Suite/Cable/Phone) doesn't connect I
can't go anywhere. If I'd bought the true Nokia cable for an extra £10
($15) it would have saved a lot of hassle.
Have a loog at MobiMB - I've not tried it but it looks a lot easier to
use than PC Suite or Oxygen. Trying to get my money back from them
aswell but with less luck !

Well, yes, but the only problem is, that I was told from my friend,
that it could be used for 3510i as well, she had it on her own mobile,
    which also was a 3510i.

    Re: A program called Sweep?

I don't think she would have had a file transfer program on her mobile
to go to a PC. You would at least need an application running at both
ends. You could transfer from a device to another but only if they
both know that there is a transfer taking place. So the PC
applications control the phone which has built in software to handle
it. If you 'pointed' a phone at a PC it wouldn't know that anything
was happeneing, unless you use something like an infrared connection
and then it might be handled by the operating system.
Best bet is to look at the Nokia site and see what they suggest for
your phone with regards to connecting to a PC i.e. cable and/or infra
red, and then make sure that your PC can handle the appropriate
    hardware (USB /Serial/IR)
