    Not the standard way, you have to do what it says above (*0#) at the start
    of the message.

    I noticed that the MMS has the do not save copy of sent items as an option.

    I thought this was standard on all networks now! I couldn't put up with
    doing that every time!

    Probably because MMS messages can be quite big and use up lost of memory,
    wheras SMS messages use next to none...
