A longer, slower charge is certainly better for the condition of the
battery in terms of it's overall lifespan (the number of recharges you
can get before performance deteriorates to the level where a
replacement is wanted), but I've always had the same impresion myself
with Nokias
The weighty ACP7X charger that was around from the 3210's day takes
twice as long to charge my battery than the more current 12X unit, but
the charge does seem to last longer - maybe as much as 10%.
