6600, quickly navigating the menu?

HI,

just wondering if there are any shortcuts or tricks to navigating the
6600's menu structure? For example, if I know that I want to go to
conectivity, do I need to keep scrolling down until I get there, or is
there a quick key combination or something?

the numeral keys 1 thru 9

I think it's supposed to be possible to put commonly used items in the 'go to'
folder.

Supposed to be...

I can't get anything useful in there though.

On the calendar, if you are on a date in the future, (or a previous
date, and want to quickly return to today's date without wading through
them all, press the # key and it takes you straight there.
