Is it possible to determine the network someone is on?
The reason I ask is I'm on 02 and calls to others on 02 are free, whereas
calls to other networks numbers aren't.
So, any way to know if the guy I'm calling is also on 02?
Thanks,

Do you mean there's no other way or you don't know of another way?
Free = included within the first 50 mins/month allowance. Whereas to non 02
its extra

There's no way since number portability came in, no.

Providing they haven't taken their number to another network, the following
list might help

Mike.

If you get a long ring before the regular ring ring, then it's Orange.
